How to set up a Huawei black fiber optic router

2. Enter your Broadband account and password as provided by your ISP.
3. If required, configure IP address, Subnet mask, Default gateway, and DNS servers.
4. For fiber connections requiring VLAN, enable VLAN settings and enter the configuration details from your ISP .

Step 4: Wi-Fi and Security Configuration

1. Set a Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password for your network.
2. Set a login password for the router's management page to secure access .
3. Optionally, configure advanced settings such as DHCP server, MAC filtering, guest network, or DNS settings for better network management .

Step 5: Connect Devices

• Wired devices: Use Ethernet cables to connect computers, set-top boxes, or other devices to the LAN ports.
• Wireless devices: Connect phones, tablets, and laptops to the configured Wi-Fi network .
